FAMILY SESSIONS

For Families who love a mix of candid and posed photos to hold onto, and hang in their homes! Family sessions are lifestyle which is a guided approach to documentary photography. Real raw emotion will come through in these photographs with an emphasis on laughter, snuggles, and hugs. I like to break up this session into the first 15 minutes of posed family portraits, the ones you give to loved ones or hang in your home. Which is followed by a fun family activity using prompts to capture those true laughs and smiles, and the last bit of the session is focused on those up close portraits and creative details.

"You will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow, they will be a little older than they were today. This day is a gift. Just breathe, notice, study their faces and little feet. Pay attention. Relish the charms of the present. Enjoy today. It will be over before you know it.”
